Book Your Trip

Private Shore Excursions

Private shore excursions, planned around your ship’s schedule.

Time ashore, whether it is a matter of hours or most of a day, is planned around the times you give us rather than a fixed script. This is an enquiry-only private chauffeur offering, arranged individually rather than sold as a set itinerary.

Built around your times, not a script

Planning starts from your own arrival and all-aboard times.

No excursion is sold here as a fixed package with a printed stop list. Instead, the two points you give us — when you are free to leave and when you need to be back — become the fixed ends of the day, and the driving in between is built to fit inside them, the same way a private day tour is built around any other client’s stops and pace. The chauffeur car is booked for the time you have, with waiting at every stop included rather than charged separately.

This is a new offering rather than an established one — there is no back catalogue of shore-excursion days to point to yet, which is why every enquiry is handled individually rather than through an instant-booking page. Coverage is Dublin only for the moment: send your ship’s stated times and the places that interest you, and a plan comes back built around them, priced as a private day would be.

Two shapes a day ashore can take

Route families to start the conversation from, not a fixed menu.

These are examples of the kind of ground a few hours or most of a day ashore can cover — not itineraries already run for cruise passengers. The actual plan is built from your own ship times once you get in touch.

Dublin

The city itself

A shorter time ashore suits staying in Dublin: the Georgian city centre, the Docklands, and the coastal suburbs — Dún Laoghaire, Clontarf, Howth — that sit within easy reach of the city.

  • Dublin city centre
  • Georgian squares
  • Dublin Docklands
  • Dún Laoghaire
  • Howth

County Wicklow

Gardens and coastline south of the city

With more time ashore, County Wicklow is within reach: Powerscourt’s gardens, Glendalough, and the coast around Greystones and Bray. Whether this fits comfortably inside your time ashore depends on your own stated times, agreed before anything is confirmed.

  • Powerscourt Gardens
  • Glendalough
  • Greystones
  • Bray

Shore excursions, answered plainly.

How is timing handled around the ship?

Built around your ship’s stated departure, with buffer time agreed in advance so you are back with room to spare. No fixed number of hours is quoted in general — the plan is sized to the times you actually give us.

Which ports do you cover?

Dublin only. This is not offered from other Irish ports.

What about lunch or adding a stop along the way?

Lunch and any entry tickets stay yours to book. Stops can be added, swapped, or dropped on request, kept within whatever time you have ashore.

Is this a confirmed, ready-to-book service?

It is offered by enquiry rather than as an instant booking. Send your ship’s times and what you would like to see, and a quote comes back to confirm before anything is booked — the same process as any other private tour here.

How many passengers fit?

Up to 3 passengers and 3 cases in the BMW 745Le. For a bigger group, a Mercedes V-Class can be requested instead, for up to 6 passengers — a partner-network vehicle, sourced and confirmed the same way as the 745Le.

Send your ship’s times and we will build the day around them.

This is arranged individually rather than sold as a set itinerary — a rough idea of the stops that interest you, plus when you are free and when you need to be back, is enough to start.
